WGB is not only a web design company; it is a small business first and foremost. We are very familiar with the ins and outs of starting a business, running it, seeing it through the highs and lows and are fortunate enough to have been part of all facets from our prior business experience. Since we are small and are managing many different roles, we have a unique perspective. We want The Wrap to focus on small, niche web design, along with charitable giving; however, we’re finding as each day passes that we are becoming strong advocates for small business as well.
To those who know us, it’s no secret we are passionate about what we do. It is also no secret that we just don’t do one thing and then call it a day. It seems everyday we speak with another individual with a discouraging story about how their web design experience was a disappointment or how they have been totally mislead in the online listing arena. We wish we could just let it roll off our backs and not affect us; however . . . it does affect us and it motivates us on several levels. First, we know we offer a superior product at a superior price. Second, we also know that not too many come close to our level of customer service, attention to detail and the fact that we genuinely care about each client’s business. Many a night has been spent awake thinking about how we could help our client who is a roofer and what would be best for him. We are constantly on the lookout for information we can share with and help our clients.
Ok, so I went around the barn a couple of times to get to what I main point of this post. Bottom-line is that we think we can offer some interesting insight for small business owners, sales people and entrepreneurs in general, simply by our broad range experiences. We don’t covet what we know or have learned and we totally want to share it with others. If what we offer helps with a learning curve, improves business, motivates or inspires or simply is a story someone can relate to than we’re giving back in more ways than just good value and donations. We believe this truly is “good business and goodwill coming together.”
We’re going to do this in a few ways. First, we’re going to clearly categorize our posts each day so you’ll know if we’re focusing on website design, small business, sales, start-ups, etc. Next, we’ll be off and running very soon with video blogging launch. We’re going to make these informative and do our best to make things relevant and interesting, maybe even amusing. We will utilize Facebook and Twitter and hope you spread the word if you find something worthwhile to share. Let us know if you ever have any questions or want us to expand on a particular topic or post and we’ll certainly do so. We’re totally open to hearing what you think about the idea of categorizing our blog posts to a broader scope, not just small business web design. Feedback is always great. Thanks for stopping by and we hope we hear from you!
