For us, if we didn’t have that ability, we’d so be out of business and probably in a mental hospital somewhere (at least I know I would).

Life is serious and hard, as is business; so we need to make the best of this crazy ride and find all the humor we can in it. As individuals and as a company, we take time to laugh, share comical stories about our day and some of the unique individuals we run across and are light-hearted with our customers.

    Hi Elena,

I think humour is very essential to our lives and ventures that we undertake. A good humour can diffuse sometimes otherwise explosive meetings. Also we need humour to laugh on ourselves when things are not going our own way. So a 4.5 I would say

Hello Ashvini! Always nice to see you here!

Great point about humor as a diffuser – excellent! Indeed humor is invaluable to have when “life” happens otherwise. ;) 4.5 very good!! Glad you get this as an entrepreneur, plus you liked the talking dog video – you definitely have a sense of humor!! :)

Wishing you a safe, fabulous and humorous week!

    With kindness,

    Whats up Elena

I’ve realized in my early ages of exsistence, We have to laugh. Its the only way we can enjoy life. The only way we can embrace the world with open arms and a smile that’s GOLDEN. Smiling and laughing is the way to the world, open the door with a giggle.

Well hello King Arthor and welcome!

It’s very kind of you to stop by – I’m humbled. Learning to laugh early on is a good thing that will carry you through indeed! That’s why children have the joy of life because of their innocent and frequent laughter! Take the 3 simples words (please, thank you) and add a smile and you definitely have the keys to the kingdom! Simple things to live by, but missed far too often. I’m glad you know it! ;)

Wishing you abundant laughter and smiles!!

Have a great, safe weekend and Happy 4th of July!!

    Much kindness,

    Elena

Ok, I’m a pretty serious guy and I work in a pretty serious business (insurance) so there is certainly no frivolity or laughing allowed…………ha………

Being in sales you encounter all kinds of customers and situations so you have to keep a humorous attitude or might never make a sales call. We facetiously joke about how far you would go to make a sale and my stock answer is “but I won’t shave my legs”………meaning I might even wear a dress if I have to but I just have to draw the line somewhere, right?

Just about every situation I’m in, I look for humor. In fact, I have to bite my tongue most of the time because I could have a quip for just about everything someone says; don’t want to be annoying, do we?

I saw a speaker @KarynBuxman who does a great job looking for humor in all life situations. You should check her out and if you ever get the chance to hear her talk I would recommend it.

I’m pretty sure this is the first time I have been to your place; please accept by apologies for my tardiness.

    Great vid BTW.

Oh, I almost forgot … I signed up for your blog awhile back, but seemed I didn’t make the cut – never got anything delivered to my inbox – I somewhat took it personally. So, I just went and did it again – I hope I “get mail” from the invisible blogger!! WAAAH!!

Ha, the pleasure is all mine. I haven’t done a good job of reaching out past my core but I’m going to do a better job going forward (it will be mentioned in an upcoming post).

As far as not getting the subscription, who the heck knows what happened with that. I’ve got the free WordPress account and just recently added buttons so it could be shared.

I know enough, but some of this I’m clueless because I don’t take the time to figure it out. I started the blog just because I thought it was what you were supposed to do and then next thing I know I had people showing up so I’ve had to learn on the fly w/ some of the buttons, subscriptions, etc.

Oh well, it’s been an interesting journey for me to say the least.

Have a good one and I’ll be seeing you around.

Well Mr. Dorman what do I owe the honor of your visit?! I’m incredibly humbled as your nice face I’ve seen lots of places and it’s always a joy to read your comments. This comment being no different – thank you!!!

So you’re a “serious” guy ey? Suurrre you are (wink, wink)! Seriously, if I were you, I’d shave my legs before I’d wear a dress, but heck to each is own! For some odd reason, I’m betting you have nice legs! ;) Now if you have a bit of Italian in you could quip away because that’s somewhat goes with the territory. So just add an “o” at the end of Dorman (Domano!) and you’re free to quip, quip, quip away!

Humor sure is a winner every time – THAT is what makes a person completely likeable and attractive I think!

If I didn’t laugh at the fireballs thrown at me on this journey boy, I’d be fried! I can only imagine in your line of work you’d say the same. (Your industry fascinates me for some reason.)

Now I’m definitely going to check out Karyn Buxman – thank you for the tip! How awesome to earn a living at being humorous! Wah!

Thank you so much again for stopping by my extremely humble abode – it’s a major work in progress … obviously.

I hope you have a fantastic and safe July 4th and holiday weekend!

    Much kindness,

    Elena

Ah my favorite … humor! I use humor like everyday! To get out of sticky situations with mom; to convince others that I am not all that crazy and also to convince myself that maybe, just maybe someday I might be all normal again! ;)

I think humor is way too rarely used. Jokes and all are okay, but you can’t make people around you laugh by telling them the same ol joke all the time. Tell them seriously funny! Make yourself funny. Make a humorous example of incidents around you.

Though at work, my patients might beat the pulp out of me if I start making fun and using way too much humor. Also, they might take serious offence! But I use humor anyway, mild humor to help them laugh at their problem and to gain a better perspective.

Hmmm… seems like rather than talking about humor, I am blowing my own trumpet here….!

Have a lovely, humor filled week!

    Hello, hello Hajra!

Great to see you here and girl I know of a lot of bloggers, but, but … you have this quirky sense of humor thing that I am totally endeared to; in fact, it’s what led me to you. I like your remarks and the way you see things. So … I’m a fan!

Humor is like salt to me … very good to have, but don’t over use it. (I personally like a little more salt and a little more humor than the average perhaps.) I’ve been blessed with a child who has a wicked sense of humor and that’s when I know God too has a sense of humor. ;)

I’m sure humor, especially the way you understand and view it, is very applicable and helpful in your work, which is a good thing for both your patients and you.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on humor Hajra! I know to come to your blog for a laugh or in the very least a HUGE smile!!

Wishing you a humorous week as well!

    Much kindness,

    Elena

Hey Elena! I’m the world’s biggest fan of humor.

I hate boring. Routines I have to keep up with as well as responsibilities. They just become so… well, humor-less at times. Bland. Boring. But when speckled with humor… Man! Every boring thing rocks!

This “gift” for telling, spotting and laughing at jokes is probably one of my topmost valued traits. Though it won’t zoom past gorgeousness any time of the day. LOL!
    Ruzanne recently posted..I’m A Winner!

      Greetings Ruzanne!

Thanks so much for stopping by! :) You have a GREAT view of humor – love it! I’m with you about it being a top most value trait; it’s tippy-top for me! Now THAT is funny about “gorgeousness”!! Oh, but if their gorgeous with no humor … what a shame! Well, except perhaps for someone like say … Johnny Depp (but he is funny I think!;)). Oh, we’ll just tell them to just “shush up” and look good – they’re forgiven! :)

Thanks again for commenting. Hope to see you here again soon!
